DMR Class

The Whiskey Hotel DMR class is taught by a team of GWOT veterans that include Army Infantryman, Snipers, Marines, and Green Berets! The course curriculum will cover: •Gas gun fundamentals •Rifle DOPE •Team shooting (shot spot shot and traditional team techniques) •Shooter spotter language •BDC and/or bullet drop true-ing •Field shooting •Mil relation formulas •Target spotting •Actions on contact and react to a threat •The tactics of overwatch set up and when to move it. •How to establish an urban hyde vs hasty support by fire •Combat shooting positions vs competition and more! This will be a full day class. We will eat when the class provides windows to do so - bring a small backpack with water, lunch, and ammo (at least150 rounds). You will also need a semi auto rifle with a 4x scope or bigger. A good bdc reticle (acss or Acog style) or a mil or MOA reticle. Things that are nice to have, but not necessary include: a bipod, binoculars, range finder, spotting scope, tripod, and a mag pouch. At the class conclusion, we will run some small scenario drills and stress shoots. In the meantime, setting up your scope properly and getting a good zero are excellent preparations to make.
